Simple Birthday Card

I'm back using the Lifestyle Crafts 'possibilities' dies. For the base card I used the nesting scalloped rectangle dies and for the silver mirri layer I used the nesting eyelet squares.

I used my favourite blossom die to make the main feature on the card. The alphabet was from the 'Hello, Goodbye' shape set which was part of the 'Fresh Start' release.

Enjoy,

Wendy X

Card for a baby boy

I have been a little naughty not posting in a while. I've been gearing up for Christmas as from the end of October most of my posts will be on a Christmas theme :-).

Anyway, back to todays card. I was commissioned by a friend to make a baby boy card for her friend. I used the Nesting Lace Circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts for the base card (these dies are fab). I also got chance to use their bunny too. He has a very soft tummy, feet and ears!

Enjoy, Wendy X

Letterpressed Thank You Card

I made a Letterpressed card a few weeks ago and had some of the design left over. I like to make full use of the ink and always print a few things extra than I need.

This card was made using the 'Damask' printing plate. The design was printed onto Letterpress card and one dry I could out the main part of the card using the new Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Lace Scalloped Squares. I then layered it onto a black scalloped square before mounting it onto the base card. The butterfly is the 3D shape club die.

To finish, I used the smae Letterpress set to stamp the 'Thank You' and then cut it out using a nesting ovals die

Enjoy, Wendy X

Birthday card and matching box

I made this simple matching card and box for my mum for a friends birthday. I used some of the new Lifestyle Crafts possibilites dies to mae the card base. These dies are great as they can make the best shaped cards. I used the 'Bloom' dies as the main focal point on the card and box.

Enjoy,

Wendy X

New piece of Jewellry

I just love the Lifestyle Crafts possibilities release and as I'm doing a little bit of jewellry making at the moment I made a little pendant using some of their new dies. I used the nested lace circles and one of the flowers.

I cut the shapes out in opaque sanded shrink plastic and shrunk down. I then used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze to colour. These paints are truly amazing and leave such a nice finish. I stuck the flower to the pendant with Judlikins Diamond Glaze.

Enjoy,

Wendy X
